Pregnancy perks...or not...

I used to joke with my mom about my little boobs and the AWESOME boob job I was going to get (you know, the kind I could take off at night)...and holy shit balls...it's no longer funny.

The little man currently growing in my guts (and making me feel as though I have indigestion all the time - which is the coolest thing EVER) has given me more boob than I can handle.

Like, I'm not even half way through baking this boy and my used-to-be cute, little perky ladies are now decorated in veins and stretch marks...and are GINORMOUS. G-I-N-O-R-M-O-U-S!!

You guys...I can't sleep at night.

Apparently pregnant women are supposed to sleep on their side - preferably their left. But as soon as I lay down and attempt to get all comfy...I find myself suffocating in a big billow-y mass of stretch-mark-y, vein-y BOOBS. The no-longer-cute, little perky ladies (I think now is a good time to yell, "BOOOOOOOBIES!!!) pile up around my throat and there's just nowhere to put the girls. I've tried stuffing them under my armpits (which was a big, fat fail), spreading the suckers out to give some room to the rest of my body...and guys, they are out of control. And then I don't know where to put my arms around the mountainous beasts. Sleep is a party.

So, to all of you women who are well endowed before pregnancy - keep 'em. I don't want them anymore.

Mine totally did that BEFORE I was pregnant. And now I'm NURSING... just multiply what you're going through by 10!! It's hard to wear clothes. :)

Oh my gosh, Michelle. I can't even imagine. However, I could totally be a nudist :) I'm sure your significant other doesn't mind either...ahem...

Body pillow? I wrapped up around one of those and it seemed to help, but yeah, post pregnancy I think is harder. Leakage/tender/swollen then flat then swollen/etc is not so fun. Do they have the Ahh bra there? They advertise it a lot here and I think next time around, I'm definitely getting one of those suckers.

I hear ya!! Seriously. Veins, veins, and more veins. Ugh, I hated my ginormous (sp?) boobs during pregnancy. I only breastfed for two weeks, and although drying up was miserable-getting my perfect b size boobs back was heaven!! Don't judge me, but I'm sort of considering not even letting the milk come in for my next baby. I hated it!!!!

Mine got even bigger with the second one. And then the nipples were crazy big too. I can't imagine what number three would be like. Not finding out. Congratulations!

I just decided I can't have children because I can't handle my boobs being any bigger than they are right now. I'm already saving for my future boob job.

Erin! Hahaha I am laughing out loud at this! Um, unfortunately they are going to get even bigger if you breastfeed. Good luck! I think I went from a B cup to a D cup...and then back down to a small B afterwards. :/ Honestly I kind of miss having a nice rack-just minus the milk, please. ;)

Just watch. After the little man is born and my boobs are deflated raisins on washboards...you're going to get a blog post about my sad, flat, flabby boobs. I'll take everything back :)

Oh how they hurt when you nurse. I didn't nurse my first two very long because I just never got the hang of it... when I did get the hang of it with my third, I loved it... but it can definitely be a challenge. But yes, try a body pillow and straddle it between legs, between belly and bed, between boobs (as much as possible), and under head. So comfy. I still sleep like that some nights. Hope you're doing awesome! BTW Meg and I had lunch yesterday and we were thinking of you. She says hi!!
